Aaron Wiggins, a 6 feet 6 inch star, started his sporting career as a freshman, but after a few games, he told his coach Mark Turgeon that he would feel more at ease coming off the bench. As a result, he ended up playing the most minutes on his squad.
He concluded the season with an average of 8.3 points and 3.3 rebounds in 23.5 minutes per game after scoring a season-high 15 points at Maryland versus Michigan. Aaron recorded another season-high of 20 points on February 23, 2020, during his sophomore season, in a 79-72 loss against Ohio State.

On December 26, 2021, Aaron stunned everyone by scoring a career-high 24 points while playing against the New Orleans Pelicans. Shooting 8/10 from the field, he helped his team win 117-112 in that game. A few months later, the Thunder changed his two-way deal into a conventional one for the remainder of the season.
