Brandy Ledford Biography
Brandy Ledford (Brandy Lee Ledford) is an American actress and model best known for being the 1992 Penthouse Magazine “pet of the year”. She is also well-known for her film roles such as Desiree on the television mockumentary family sitcom, “Modern Family”; Dawn Masterton on the action-drama series, “Baywatch Hawaii”; and as Doyle in the science fiction television series “Andromeda”.
Brandy was born on the 4th of February 1969 in Denver, Colorado. She also occasionally goes by the names Jisel or Brandy Sanders. Her first known role was as Jisel in the 1991 penthouse-produced, adult film Penthouse: Fast Cars Fantasy Women. The film features “nude bombshells and hot rods.” That same year, she appeared as herself in the “Penthouse Pet of the Year Play-Off 1991” video.
Since then Brandy has appeared in several other films and television series in various guest appearances as well as being part of the main cast. She played in several films including the action-drama series, “Baywatch Hawaii” as Dawn Masterton alongside the star, David Hasselhoff. She appeared in about 15 episodes of the show from 1999-2000. This increased her recognition even greater.

Brandy then kept on appearing in several other films and TV series including First Target, Rat Race, Zebra Lounge, Faultline, Separate Ways, The Invisible Man (TV series), Smallville, Stargate SG-1, Whistler, along with several other. In 2005, she garnered even greater recognition following her performance in the science fiction television series “Andromeda” as Doyle.
Brandy’s best-known portrayals among all her appearances were in Andromeda, Baywatch Hawaii, The Invisible Man, and Whistler, of which she was nominated for two Best Actress awards, at the Leo Awards and Gemini Awards. Of late, she has been appearing in less and fewer screenplays as the years pass.

Brandy has been married twice. At first, she married Damian Sanders, a snowboarder. They officially got married sometime in the early ’90s. Next, she married Martin Cummins, a Canadian actor best known for his work in “Dark Angel” (2001-02), “Riverdale” (2017), and “Poltergeist: The Legacy”, in 1998. The couple got divorced in 2004, after about 6 years in marriage.
