Even though the band was only formed in 2019, they have already dropped several hit singles as well as a successful EP. Cix Members’ Profile

Cix is comprised of five members: BX, Seunghun, Yonghee, Jinyoung, and Hyunsuk. Some of the members are newbies while others have tried their luck on other groups/talent shows.

Stage Name – BX

Real Name – Lee Byounggon

Bx is the main rapper and vocalist of the group. He is also the group leader as well as the final Cix member to be unveiled. BX was born on the 5th of March 1998 in Incheon City, South Korea. There is not much information on his family background but it is known that it was his brother who influenced him to become a rapper. BX initially trained with YG Entertainment for three years. He, however, failed to make the cut and so left for other opportunities. He finally made it into Cix and the rest is now history. BX likes jellies but hates vegetables. He is 5 feet 11 inches tall and his weight is given as 61kg (134 lb).

Real Name – Kim Seunghun

Seunghun is the main vocalist as well as the lead dancer of the group. He was born on the 26th of February 1999 in Cheongju, South Korea. Seunghun followed a circuitous route to the top. He spent a total of 10 years training under YG Entertainment and Cube Entertainment. He also featured on various survival shows but could not make it into any group. He later got his breakthrough as one of the founding members of Cix. Seunghun is 5 feet 11 inches tall and his weight is given as 69kg (152 lb).

Real Name – Kim Yonghee

Yonghee was the fourth Cix member to be revealed. A vocalist and visual artist, he was born on the 17th of February 2000 in South Korea. There is a paucity of information with regards to his family background but there is no doubt that his family would be proud of his achievements. Yonghee has a pet parakeet known as Sarang. The singer is also a big fan of cereals. He is very happy when eating cereals and reportedly consumes as much as 3-4 bowls each day. Yonghee is 5 feet 9.7 inches tall and his weight is given as 59kg (130 lb).

Real Name – Bae Jinyoung

Bae Jinyoung is the lead vocalist, lead dancer, and face of the group. He was born on the 10th of May 2000 in Seoul. He hails from a family of five and has two younger siblings. Bae Jinyoung participated in Produce 101 in 2017 and made it into the project boy group, Wanna One. He spent two years as a Wanna One member before they disbanded in 2019. Following the disbandment, Bae Jinyoung pursued a solo music career and dropped a single album titled Hard to Say Goodbye. He subsequently joined Cix in July 2019. Bae Jinyoung is 5 feet 10 inches tall and his weight is given as 60kg (132lb).

Stage Name – Hyunsuk

Real Name – Yoon Hyunsuk

Hyunsuk is the main dancer, lead rapper, and vocalist of the group. He was the third member of the group to be unveiled. He is also the youngest Cix member and was born on the 8th of September 2001. Hyunsuk loves swimming. He also loves eating, and his favorite dish is Kimchi (a Korean dish of spicy pickled cabbage). The dancer/rapper is 6 feet 1 inch tall and his weight is given as 64 kg (141 lb).

Discography of the Band

Cix members have thus far dropped one Korean language EP titled Hello Chapter 1: Hello Stranger. The EP was released in July 2018 and featured five tracks: What You Wanted, Movie Star, Like It That Way, Imagine and One. The EP sold 72,883 copies in South Korea alone and peaked at number 2 on the Korean Albums Chart. It also reached No. 25 on the Japanese Albums Charts and No. 200 on the France Digital Charts. Cix also released the Japanese language version of Hello Chapter 1: Hello Stranger in October 2019. It featured their five previous tracks as well as a new single titled My New World.
