On June 15, 2011, he made his Bravo TV debut as the host of Rocco’s Dinner Party, a weekly reality cooking competition. In 2012, DiSpirito appeared as a celebrity competitor on Fox’s dating game show The Choice.

Rocco DiSpirito was born in Jamaica Queens, New York, on November 19, 1966, to Nicolina and Ralph DiSpirito. Since he was a child, he has had a strong interest in cooking, and his mother was a key part of that, as he learned many traditional Italian foods from her.
DiSpirito earned his bachelor’s degree in 1986 from the Culinary Institute of America, which ignited his interest in cooking as a career.
