The new docuseries, The Widower, is further exploring the suspicious story of Randolph and the unusual death of four wives.

His second wife, Becky Gault, apparently died of suicide in 1986.

Likewise, his fourth wife, Francis Randolph died in the hospital after having heart surgery. Her daughter, Rachel claimed that Randolph did not permit her to see her mother and even attend the funeral.

Further, his next wife, Leona Stapleton allegedly died of cancer.

According to the reports, prosecutors accused Randolph of hiring the hitman to murder his wife so that he could claim the insurance payout in her name.

Randolph, however, has denied all the allegations against him. Even though he was convicted of the murder and sent to death row, he is deemed eligible for retrial.
