Unforgettable Fire, or “UF”, was born on New Years Day in 1995 as one of the very first U2 tribute bands to ever perform in America.
After twenty-five years of plating in some of the most prestigious venues on the East Coast, UF has formed a reputation among many to be one of the closest experiences to being at an actual live U2 show.
Clash Of The Cover Band: Unforgettable Fire
Unforgettable Fire is a popular band that plays tribute and cover songs of U2.
They have recently emerged victorious in the first episode of E!’s new competition show, Clash of the Cover Bands, on Wednesday evening.
The theme of the evening was ” Stadium Rockers” and pit New Jersey-based Unforgettable Fire against NOrth Carolina-based Cold Playtribute band Fix You.
Ironically, the two acts played a double bill together in Montclair on January 11, 2020.
The series pits two acts head-to-head for a chance to win $10,000. At the end of the season, one winning band will take home a $25,000 top prize and perform on the Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Meet U2 Tribute Band Unforgettable Fire Members
The members of UF are also very dedicated fans of U2, and will not settle for anything less than complete authenticity.
The band is composed of the member, Bono (Anthony Russo), The Edge (Mick Normoyle), Adam Clayton (Fanwood’s own Craig Kiell), and Larry Mullen Jr. (George Levesanos).
In addition to performing a very impressive array of U2 material from pre-Boy to the most recent songs of experience, the band does everything in their power to recreate the live U2 concert setting for their audience.
The producers had approval from U2 to do only four songs: Where The Streets Have No Name, Beautiful Day, Mysterious Ways, and One.
What Is The Age Of The Members?
The age of each of the band members is not available for the time being.
However, they recently reached the mark of 25 years of togetherness in the band as the band celebrated their 25th-anniversary since their formation.
Kiell, who enjoyed spending a week in California filming with his bandmates stated that the band is in their prime time.
He further mentioned, at their age, it is amazing and they are not looking for anything bigger, they are comfortable where they are at and enjoying their moment.
