Woody shared his reservations about portraying Bobby’s affair with Janet onscreen in an interview with Essence on September 5, 2018. Bobby, on the other hand, encouraged him to publicize the affair because he wanted the world to know his side of the story.
When Janet had an affair with Bobby, he said she was already engaged to be married. He also said that since he was a “dark-skinned Black guy,” Janet didn’t take him seriously.
